Day 48

I spent the morning at the Tucson Zoo again. I really like our little zoo. I shot more frames than I know what to do with...and I likely will again in a couple days.

Having chased those circus elephants through a flooded downtown, I found my appetite merely whetted and so I spent this morning at the lovely Tucson Zoo. I plan to spend several more mornings there during my summer vacation, which goes into actual effect tomorrow...I'll be off until August 8th and so I'm hoping to cover lots of artistic ground in those three Ps I love: painting, photography & poetry. Thanks to all the 100 Days artists who are still at it, and to those who may not be. This is such an overwhelming undertaking that I'm more than a little surprised I'm still at it. Yay you & me!

Day 42

Tasked with making something, anything as long as it was smaller than a shoebox, we delivered our made, boxed things to our final class last night. There were lots of great boxed things. Mine, made mostly from an old backgammon game, became "A Writer's Toolkit: Surrealist Edition | Now with more words! Paintbrush, magnets & dice included!" All words collaged into/onto this project I found in an old Greek/English dictionary published in 1954.
