I felt I had to take my own advice as I readied myself to participate (and hopefully complete) this year's 100 Days...I tell my students all the time that they don't need fancy supplies to become artists, but then I'd wonder how I was going to afford the supplies I wanted in my own pursuits. Except I've got a bunch of stuff, including old mass-produced picture frames that I don't use anymore. Voila, canvas. Sort of...but at least the holes fit it with the oddities already found in my Stella work, and I can see where I'll likely play with using the holes somehow to attach media. Maybe. Something.
